Schotte wants to hold business meetings in prison

WILLEMSTAD - Not only 14 SDKK prisoners but also the current leader of the opposition party MFK Gerrit Schotte is filing a case against the government of Curaçao. For other reasons than the 14 prisoners.

The former prime minister wants to hold business meetings in prison, but the management refuses to give him permission stating that this is an unknown practice and is against the rules.

 

Prisoners may only receive an hour's visit once every two weeks.
