Prime Minister Rhuggenaath visits US Chamber of Commerce

WASHINGTON, WILLEMSTAD - The Prime Minister of Curaçao announced on his second day in Washington D.D. that he visited the US Chamber of Commerce where he and the Prime Minister of Aruba Mrs. Evelyn Wever-Croes met with the Vice-President of the Americas and Vice-President of the Association of Chambers of the region.

During their conversation Prime Minister Rhuggenaath presented the enormous potential of Curaçao's most competitive sectors and emphasized the opportunities where the island has an added value to national and regional companies.

“We have the necessary human capital and experience in the service industry, a dynamic renewable energy sector, a tourism sector in development with ample opportunities, as well as our facilities and logistics & digital infrastructure,” said the Prime Minister.

“We agreed to connect with our local Curaçao Chamber of Commerce and Industry and together with our Plenipotentiary Minister in Washington, Mr. Xavier Prens, look at possibilities to participate in regional network and meetings.”
