Prime Minister President of Curaçao and Colombian governor strengthen ties

WILLEMSTAD - During his visit to Curaçao, the Governor of La Guajira, Colombia, Wilson Rojas Vanegas met with Prime Minister Eugene Rhuggenaath, who formalized the projects that his government has formulated in favor of the tourist development of La Guajira.

The governor explained that currently the peninsula requires investments in hotel infrastructure with the participation of his administration, tourism promotion, the Marina de Riohacha, whose project is being managed by the Ministry of Tourism, among others.

On the other hand, the Prime Minister assured that on the part of Curaçao there will be international cooperation for accompaniment and consultancies in all the projects that have to do with the impulse of the tourism, given the experience that the island has in the development of the tourism and use of resources coming from this activity.

This meeting resulted in the unavoidable commitment to strengthen commercial ties, relations and cooperation between La Guajira and Curaçao, as was done historically.
