Prime Minister: “Our doors will remain open for PdVSA”

WILLEMSTAD - The Prime Minister of Curaçao declared in a press conference that even if, at the end of the search for a partner for the refinery, it appears that the choice has not fallen on PdVSA, the doors of Curaçao always remains open for this Venezuelan company.

“After all, we remain neighbors and if the situation in Venezuela one day normalizes, we must remember that we have always traded with each other and that Venezuela has one of the largest oil stocks in the world. We attach great importance to the relationship we have with Venezuela. However, the fact remains that we need to choose what’s best for Curaçao at this time. Whether this means that PDVSA will stay here or not, I don't want to anticipate that,” said the Prime Minister.
