WILLEMSTAD - Possibly the first Corona patient on Curaçao

A 68-year-old tourist with symptoms of the Covid-19 virus is said to have tested positive for Corona yesterday. Reliable sources reported this to Curaçao Persbureau.

The man is said to have arrived on the island last Thursday and fell ill the following day on Friday. Last Wednesday, he reported by telephone to a GP post that he had symptoms that indicate an infection with the Corona virus.

He was immediately advised to stay indoors and to isolate himself. According to protocol and agreed with Public Health. After that, the health authorities were informed and the man was tested.
