WILLEMSTAD - Police are warning people to avoid some areas due to the upcoming tropical wave. The depression has now developed into 'Potential Tropical Cyclone 13' and can cause heavy rain showers and gusts of wind.  

Police recommend avoiding certain areas known for flooding. It concerns the following areas: Saliña, Zeelandia, Groot Davelaar, Otrobanda (Pater Euwensweg), Penstraat, Oranjestraat, Pietermaai, Jongbloed, Zuikertuintje, Damacor, Gosieweg, Kaminda Brievengat, Schottegatweg West, Marchena area.  

Police are warning people to stay at home as much as possible and not to take to the streets during the passing storm. "We ask everyone to follow our instructions and directions," the police said.
