WILLEMSTAD - Another person is now safe from the coronavirus. Epidemiologist Izzy Gerstenbluth reported this in the press conference today.

389 people have now been tested, 16 of which were positive. 14 people have now recovered from the virus and one person has died. This means that there is only one person who still has the virus active in Curaçao.

Despite the few infections on the island, Gerstenbluth warns of the possibility of more infections after the easing of tomorrow. High-risk groups must beware of contact.

He advises everyone who does not have to go outside to remain in their house. Visiting hospitals or nursing homes can be very risky.
