WILLEMSTAD - The Public Prosecution Service (OM) will tighten extra checks at the airport in December for outstanding fines. The Public Prosecution Service reports this in a press release.
The fines must be paid before anyone travels abroad. The Public Prosecution Service points out that the fine, as stated on the summons report (OPV), will be increased after the traffic hearing. “This can be prevented if the fine is paid no later than Tuesday, December 14,” said the Public Prosecution Service.
People with a fine can pay it at the Paga bo But office in Waaigat. The office is open for several days in December with adjusted times. The department is open on Thursday 2 December from 07:30 to 11:30 and in the afternoon from 13:30 to 20:00. On Saturday, December 4, the department is open from 8 a.m. to 12 noon.
It is also possible to pay the fine online.
