WILLEMSTAD - According to sources, the consultancy firm Muse Stancil is on the island to negotiate the take over of the refinery by the Klesch Group. The government announced a few weeks ago that there will be representatives of the possible new operator on the island to continue due diligence and also meet with PDVSA.

These meetings between the government company Curaçao Refinery (RdK), the Isla Refinery and Klesch Group have started today. Klesch Group is represented by Muse Stance.
