Minister Silvania in conversation with Dutch tax authorities and customs for cooperation

THE HAGUE - During a working visit to the Netherlands, Minister of Finance Javier Silvania presented the Curaçao reform plans of the tax authorities and customs. The minister spoke to various ministers about the possibilities for further cooperation and support.  

 

A delegation from the Ministry of Finance traveled to the Netherlands last week for various meetings with the tax authorities and customs of the Netherlands. In addition, Silvania visited State Secretary for Kingdom Relations Alexandra van Huffelen, State Secretary for Taxation and Tax Administration Marnix van Rij and State Secretary for Customs Aukje de Vries.  

 

During the visit, the plans for further cooperation and support in the reforms with the tax authorities and customs of Curaçao were examined and made concrete. According to Silvania, concrete agreements have been made with both bodies to further develop support options and include them in the action plans, which are part of the National Package.
