WILLEMSTAD - The prison management announced this week that every detainee in Sentro di Detenshon di Korekshon Kòrsou (SDKK Prison) is being treated humanely.

The management responds to reports that prisoners would want to start an interlocutory procedure against the treatment they receive. In it, they complain about faulty sewers, mosquitoes, lack of food and lack of resocialization projects.

The prison says that there are sometimes problems, but that they are always solved. And that is certain that every prisoner is treated in a humane way.
