WILLEMSTAD – The MAN-PIN parliamentary faction has formally requested answers from Prime Minister Gilmar ‘Pik’ Pisas (MFK) regarding reported dissatisfaction and alleged integrity breaches within Kas di Kòrsou, Curaçao’s official representation in the Netherlands.
The request comes in response to ongoing media reports suggesting internal unrest and complaints among staff members at the Curaçao House. The concerns were outlined in a letter dated July 14, addressed to the Prime Minister and obtained by Nu.cw.
In the letter, faction leader Giselle Mc William (MAN-PIN) invokes Article 96 of the Rules of Order of Parliament, which allows members to submit formal questions to the government. Mc William inquires whether the Prime Minister is aware of the complaints and if any reports or grievances regarding the management and work culture at Kas di Kòrsou have been submitted in recent years.
The faction is also requesting information on any internal or external investigations that may have been conducted into matters of work satisfaction, organizational integrity, or workplace culture—and the results of such assessments, if available.
Given the seriousness of the allegations, MAN-PIN proposes launching an independent investigation into the working conditions at Kas di Kòrsou, stressing the need for transparency and accountability.
The letter concludes with a call for a prompt written response from the Prime Minister.
The Curaçao House in The Hague represents the island’s interests in the Netherlands and serves as a key diplomatic and administrative hub. Allegations of mismanagement within the institution could have far-reaching implications for its credibility and function.
