WILLEMSTAD - As part of a comprehensive maintenance and renovation plan for Curoil's infrastructure, Curoil announces that starting on May 29, 2023, maintenance and renovation work will commence on the jet fuel pipeline running from the Isla Refinery (Valentijn) to Hato Airport. The work will be carried out in several phases and is expected to be completed by August 2023.

During this period, maintenance and renovation work will be conducted at various locations along Schonegevelstraat, F.D. Rooseveltweg, the intersection of Jan Noorduynweg-Kaya Frank Curiel, the intersection of Kaya Frank Curiel-Alaskaweg, and Margaret Abraham Square. The scope of the work entails certain parts of the road being closed, resulting in various traffic diversions that need to be taken into account. The work will be undertaken by De Ron Machineshop under the supervision of Curoil and in coordination with the Public Works Department.
