WILLEMSTAD - Curaçao born actor from the Netherlands, Jandino Asporaat, announced in a press release that he is partnering with energy company Aqualectra and housing cooperative FKP (Fundashon Kas Popular) to build the first sustainable, digital city in the heart of Curaçao.

This mega project, of 132 hectares, is called New Korsou and construction is currently scheduled to start in 2023. Digitization, sustainability, inclusivity, and education will be central to the city.

Jandino: "Now is the time to invest in Curaçao. I am really looking forward to the beautiful time that is now dawning, in which a working group will be formed to realize New Korsou. You will never find out whether it will be a success by waiting forever. Don't let your financial or social background determine whether you will be successful in life."
