WILLEMSTAD - The first takeover candidates are set to visit the refinery in May. According to the public company Refineria di Korsou (RdK), the Curaçao Refinery, the owner of the Isla, these are companies from Houston, America and one from England.

China is again in sight. After the visit, next month, a proposal could be negotiated in the following months.

Time is running out and things are tight, according to RdK, because the current operator, PdVSA, is leaving in December and possibly earlier.
