WILLEMSTAD - In February of 2019 Curaçao registered a hotel occupancy of 88.3%. Compared to February 2018 (84.3%) this is an increase of 4.0 percentage points. 

The average daily rate (ADR) also increased in comparison with the year before. The average daily rate in February of this year was $199.92 and in 2018 it was $188.39. This is an increase of 6.1%.

As for the revenue per available room (RevPAR), numbers also indicate an increase of 11.2%. The revenue per available room in 2018 was $158.76 and in February of this year it was $176.59. This is an increase of 11.2%.

The increase in hotel occupancy is in line with the increase in arrivals to the destination registered by CTB for the month of February. With Curacao enjoying favorable weather all year long, February is still a great month for a sunny vacation destination, especially for other countries during their cold winter time.
