First KLM’s Boeing 787-10 photographed

CHARLESTON - KLM's newest addition, the Boeing 787-10, was first photograped by spotters at the Boeing plant in Charleston, USA. The aircraft has a special imprint to celebrate the centenary of society.

KLM has ordered a total of eight Boeing 787-10s, each of which can accommodate 344 passengers. Of these, 38 can take place in new Business Class seats from the Japanese manufacturer JAMCO, and 306 in Economy / Economy Comfort.

The first aircraft will be delivered at the end of this month. The Dreamliner will already be operating on the scheduled service from Schiphol to Kilimanjaro and Dar es Salaam on 1 July. The route to Dubai follows from July 3, followed by San Francisco and Curaçao in the following months.

In April it was announced that KLM was exchanging its order for Airbus A350s for more Boeing 787s. That is now 787-9s, but the airline keeps the possibility open to change part of it to the five-meter longer 787-10.
