WILLEMSTAD - After months of intensive preparations, the purchase of two new aircraft and the execution of various tests, it is finally time: airline EZ Air has the necessary license to start its operations.
The first flight between Bonaire and Curaçao leaves tomorrow, December 23 at four in the afternoon.
Director René Winkel was delighted: "We are very happy that we can finally start. We have been working intensively for nearly a year to make this expansion a reality" says Winkel.
The airline entrepreneur explains that the interest in the flights is enormous. "People are literally eager to fly with us. Especially on the route between Bonaire and Curaçao the need is high. Between Christmas and New Year there were no tickets available for some time. Now that we are starting with the flights, that will change," says Winkel.
