WILLEMSTAD – During last week’s Diplomatic Dialogue, Curaçao once again positioned itself as a connecting force within the region, according to the Cabinet of the Minister Plenipotentiary and the Ministry of Economic Development of Curaçao. The event built on the success of the previous Curaçao Connects Ambassadors Conferences held in 2024 and 2025.
More than 26 ambassadors attended the Diplomatic Dialogue in person, once again highlighting the growing international support for Curaçao, according to the organizers. In previous gatherings, over 56 ambassadors had already traveled to the island.
The government of Curaçao sees concrete opportunities for international cooperation, particularly in areas such as green energy, the blue economy, circular agriculture, sustainable tourism, and the creative industries.
In an interactive session, ambassadors and representatives from international organizations engaged in discussions on key topics including sustainable development and joint initiatives.
The event concluded with a look ahead at upcoming international events where Curaçao will take an active role, such as the Caribbean Climate and Energy Conference, the Curaçao International Investment Summit, and the International Medical Conference Curaçao.
