WILLEMSTAD - This morning the government reported 9 new COVID-19 cases in Curaçao. According to the information two of these cases are imported. This is a change in ship crew. Four of them are the result of contact tracing and are linked to known cases. The source of three of them is still unknown.

The government also informs that three positive cases have recovered and there is one person in the hospital.

This brings the total since the beginning of the pandemic to 116 cases. There are 64 active cases now. As was mentioned, one is in the hospital. 51 have already recovered and 1 person has died.
