WILLEMSTAD - Epidemiologist Dr. Izzy Gerstenbluth indicated this morning during a briefing that there are 8 new COVID-19 cases. This is the result after 150 people were tested. 6 of these new cases are linked to known ones and the other 2 are still being investigated by the epidemiology team through their contact tracing efforts.

There are also 8 active cases that have recovered. This brings the total active cases on the island to 292.

There are currently 4 people in the hospital being treated for COVID-19 symptoms. One of them is in the ICU.
