WILLEMSTAD - The government of Curaçao reports that there are 67 new COVID-19 cases on the island. This is the result after 292 people were tested. 21 of these cases are linked to known ones, the other 45 are being investigated by the epidemiology team through contact tracing efforts. The update mentions these two numbers, 21 and 45 which sums up to 66 but the government indicates that there are 67 new cases.
7 active case have recovered which brings the total active cases to 527.
Currently there are 8 people in the CMC hospital with COVID-19 symptoms. 2 of them are in intensive care. 2 have died.
