WILLEMSTAD - The government of Curaçao announces this morning that five more cases were detected on September 8, 2020.

The source of one of the cases is not known yet. The other four are result of a contact tracing. Three of them were already in quarantine. The other one has been placed in quarantine.

Two active cases have recovered and one person is in the hospital. This brings the total to 58 active cases. The total number of cases since the pandemic began in Curaçao is now 107. 48 has already recovered and one person has died.
