WILLEMSTAD - The government of Curaçao reports that there are 38 new COVID-19 cases on the island. This is the result after 179 people were tested. 15 of these cases are linked to known ones. The other 23 are still being investigated by the epidemiology team through their contact tracing efforts.

15 active case have recovered which brings the total active cases to 1,814.

Currently there are 18 people in the CMC hospital with COVID-19 symptoms. 4 of them are in intensive care.

8 have died due to the virus.
