WILLEMSTAD - The government reports that there are 29 new COVID-19 cases on October 18, 2020. This is the result after 250 people were tested. 17 of these cases are linked to known ones while 12 of them are not. The epidemiology department is still investigating them through their contact tracing efforts. The government also announces that 16 active cases have recovered.

This brings the total active cases on the island to 310.

There is currently only one person in the hospital.
