WILLEMSTAD - The government of Curaçao reports that 18 new cases have been detected on September 17, 2020.

Two of these cases are imported, meaning one crew member from a cruise ship and one resident on one of the repatriation flights. Both are in quarantine.

Eleven of these cases are linked to known ones and the source of the other five are not yet known.

Six people have already recovered and there are two in the hospital CMC.

Yesterday the government informed that it was a choir that practiced together. But after more investigation from the Department of Epidemiology, it was opted to denominate the group as a musical group and not a choir.
