Courtesy call Secretary General of the Association of the Caribbean States to Prime Minister Rhuggenaath

WILLEMSTAD - On Friday, January 15, 2021, the Secretary General of the Association of the Caribbean States (ACS), Mr. Rodolfo Sabonge, held a courtesy call through Zoom with Prime Minister Rhuggenaath. Prime Minister Rhuggenaath congratulated the Secretary General on his appointment and assured him of his full support.

During the conversation, topics such as economic development, transport and the role of Curaçao in the ACS were discussed. They have also had a broad discussion on tourism, digital transformation and the protection of the Caribbean Sea.

SG Sabonge announced that he will work to create more space for all members of the ACP to work together for the sustainable development of the region. “We want all countries to work together, one team, one mission. That will be the key for all of us to move forward in the same direction.”
