CAP launches largest recruitment drive to strengthen Curaçao’s Airport and community

WILLEMSTAD - Marking another significant milestone, Curacao Airport Partners (CAP) has launched its largest recruitment initiative to date, aiming to fill over 100 positions by the end of the year. The focus is on key operational functions that are vital to airport safety and service quality, including airport police officers, screening officers, firefighters, apron bus drivers, parking lot agents, and other essential support roles.

To date, CAP has successfully filled the first wave of vacancies and expects to double this number in the coming weeks. Onboarding sessions are taking place twice a month, ensuring that new team members are integrated smoothly and efficiently.

This remains an ongoing effort, with intensive recruitment continuing throughout October and the months ahead. While not all positions have been filled yet, CAP’s focus remains firmly on reaching its hiring targets as quickly as possible.

As part of its ongoing ESG commitments, CAP is prioritizing recruitment to strengthen its workforce, support the community’s economic and social development, and build a stronger connection between the airport and those it serves.

Alongside external recruitment, several internal promotions have also been completed, underscoring the company’s commitment to developing its people and creating career growth opportunities. These initiatives are part of CAP’s broader strategy to in-source critical functions and provide the highest level of service to passengers and partners.

Through these efforts, CAP is investing in people, strengthening operations, and building a solid foundation for the future of Curaçao’s airport.
