WILLEMSTAD - Human Rights Caribbean calls on the government of Curaçao to release two political refugees from Venezuela.

They have been behind bars in the SDKK barracks for 5 months. Minister of Justice Quincy Girigorie has signed a decision to release them, but the Immigration Service refuses to cooperate.

The lawyer of one of the Venezuelans, a soldier, has now started a lawsuit.
