Announcement: Immigration Service reminds clients about updated forms

WILLEMSTAD - The Immigration Service reminds its clients that, as of February 15, 2024, the old declaration forms are no longer valid. These include the guarantee declaration, employer's declaration, student declaration, and the so-called 'Notice of Final Departure.'

For petitions that require the use of one of the mentioned declarations, a stamp of 10 guilders must be affixed to them. There is a special box on the form for attaching the stamp. Starting February 15, 2024, outdated declarations will not be accepted. The new forms can be downloaded from the Immigration Service website www.immigrationcur.org.

Final Departure

As of February 15, 2024, the old form for the 'Notice of Final Departure' is also no longer valid. This form is used when a foreigner permanently leaves the country. The foreigner must schedule an appointment at the Immigration Service to obtain the form after paying the applicable fees and charges for this procedure. With this form, the foreigner obtains a stamp at the Public Prosecutor's Office and two stamps at the Tax Office. Subsequently, the foreigner goes to the Civil Registry. Finally, the foreigner returns to the Immigration Service with the completed form, the stamps, and the receipt from the Civil Registry.

If a foreigner has the old form for the final departure process, they must visit the Immigration Service to exchange it for the new form.

For more information and to access the forms, you can visit the Immigration Service website at www.immigrationcur.org.
