WILLEMSTAD - The epidemiology department reports that out of 527 people who were tested today for the COVID-19 virus, 45 of them resulted positive: a positivity rate of 8.5%. 344 active cases have recovered.  This brings the number of active infections to 4167.

The situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC): 109 people are now in the hospital. 39 of them are in the intensive care unit. There are 9 people from Curaçao hospitalized in Aruba in the intensive care unit.

Unfortunately, 6 more have died making the total now 74 deaths. 5 died in the hospital and 1 in the emergency room.
