WILLEMSTAD - The epidemiology department reports that out of 1214 people who were tested today for the COVID-19 virus, 277 of them resulted positive: a positivity rate of 23%. This brings the number of active infections to 4726. 179 active cases have recovered.  

The situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC): 130 people are now in the hospital. 41 of them are in the intensive care unit.  

Unfortunately, 2 more have died making the total now 62 deaths. Both of them were in the hospital.
