WILLEMSTAD - The epidemiology department reports that out of 1455 people who were tested today for the COVID-19 virus, 272 of them resulted positive: a positivity rate of 18.7%. This brings the number of active infections to 4712. 284 active cases have recovered.  

The situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC): 129 people are now in the hospital. 45 of them are in the intensive care unit.  

Unfortunately, 1 more have died making the total now 63 deaths. This person died in the hospital.
