Yellow Alert Issued Again for Rough Seas Along North Coast of Curaçao

WILLEMSTAD – The Meteorological Department of Curaçao has issued a yellow alert for rough seas along the north coast of the island. The warning is in effect until Saturday. This follows several similar alerts issued earlier this week.

Rough seas have been a persistent issue along the coastline all week, posing a risk to small vessels, which could incur damage under these conditions. Owners of small boats are advised to exercise caution when navigating the waters.

In addition, coastal facility owners are encouraged to protect their equipment and property where possible. Swimmers are also advised to stay cautious and avoid venturing too far from shore, as the conditions could prove dangerous.

The yellow alert remains in place as the rough sea conditions continue to affect the region.
