Wingo resumes flights between Bogotá and Curaçao

BOGOTA, WILLEMSTAD - Low-Cost Carrier and Copa subsidiary Wingo has announced the restart of flights between Bogotá Colombia and Curaçao, beginning October sixth, demonstrating a return of demand for leisure and discretionary travel. Flying Boeing 737-800 NG aircraft seating 186 passengers, the airline will fly twice a week, on Wednesdays and Sundays.

 

“We are happy to hear that Wingo is back on the island to serve and connect with our visitors from Colombia. We have always been allies, more than business, of the adventures that the airline and we as the Tourist Office, can offer to those who visit us, so that their experiences are wonderful, reinforcing the slogan of our island: Feel It For Yourself,” said André Rojer, regional manager for South America of the Curaçao Tourism Office.

“With the return of our direct flights between Bogotá and Curaçao, we continue to consolidate our position as the number one low-cost airline for Colombians to make their trips abroad a reality, without having to pay more,” said Juan Sebastián Molano, Communications Manager of Wingo. “We will restart this route as of October 6, always maintaining our offer of really low prices, punctuality, biosecurity and good vibes; all as part of our commitment to the democratization of quality international air transport throughout the region.”
