WILLEMSTAD - Avalon University School of Medicine is pleased to inform that they had white coat ceremony for new students on January 11th, 2019 Friday at 7 PM at Hilton hotel, Curacao.

Avalon University, as a medical education institution, invites the new students with the white coat which they carry throughout their lifelong journey. The new students also recite the Hippocratic oath.

The Minister of Public Health, Nature, and Environment of Curacao Mrs. Suzanne Camelia-Römer and the chancellor of the university Dr. Shokat Fatteh attended this event as chief guests.

The speakers were Minister Camelia-Römer, President of the University Dr. Samir Fatteh, Executive Dean of the University Dr. Sateesh Arja, Associate Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Andrii Shmarhalov, and Dr. Kunzul Fatteh shared the words of wisdom and encouragement with the students. 

The Minister presented the awards of excellence and white coats to the students.
