WILLEMSTAD - The Gen-Irators, a group of 16 to 21 year-old in Curaçao focused on school development, leadership and community impact, offers an exciting and challenging experience for its members. Participants, often referred to as “Gen-irators,” are young people committed to using their talents to make a difference in the community. They describe the program as a blend of fun and personal growth.
One of the most rewarding aspects is the opportunity to learn new skills. Members engage in hands-on projects that teach them how to conduct research, lead initiatives, and develop strategies to address real-world issues affecting Curaçao. It’s not just about being creative; it’s about channelling that creativity to find solutions for the island’s challenges.
“The experience pushes you out of your comfort zone,” said one Gen-irator. “You discover strengths you didn’t know you had and learn how to work together.”
Being part of the Gen-irators isn’t just about personal development—it’s about using your talents and passions for a greater cause. Whether it’s through public speaking, organizing events, or developing innovative ideas, these young leaders are shaping the future of Curaçao one project and research at a time.
