WILLEMSTAD - Several companies in Curaçao closed their doors in 2018. Surprise at the Schout at Nacht Doormanweg will remain closed in 2019.

The popular restaurant Chindy's also closed its doors recently. Chindy's, currently on the Caracasbaaiweg, has been operating for 26 years. Many consider this establishment as one of the most famous Chinese-Surinamese restaurants on the island.

Also, the branch of Starbucks on Mambo BLVD has been open for the last time on 31 December 2018.
