WILLEMSTAD - The Minister of Traffic, Transport and Urban Planning Zita Jesus-Leito, emphasizes that public transport employees must comply with laws and regulations.

For example, an assistant driver is operating a bus route while the permit holder is in good physical condition. This is not allowed. The permit holder is the one supposed to operate the bus route.

Also, license plates are distributed among several vehicles of people who do not have permits to be bus drivers. This is also against the law.

Jesus-Leito warns that drastic measures will be taken against these people.
