WILLEMSTAD - The most beautifully decorated home, business, or public space has a chance to win cash prizes this holiday season. This is a competition launched by Aqualectra, the Ministry of Traffic, Transport and Spatial Planning, and the Ministry of Economic Development. 

This is part of the campaign “Kòrsou ban biba Fin di Aña”, or “Curaçao celebrates the end of the year”. The campaign aims to let the Curaçao population illuminate the island around the holidays.  

The most beautifully decorated house wins 1000 guilders, the second prize is 750 guilders and the third place goes home with 500 guilders. The most beautiful public place will win 2500 guilders and the company will receive a publication by the government as a prize.  

You can register by sending an email with your name, address, and telephone number to communications@aqualectra.com. Between 10 and 29 December, the organization will visit the participating locations.
