WILLEMSTAD – A man residing illegally on the island was arrested following a traffic accident on Roodeweg in the early hours of Sunday morning. This was reported by the Curaçao Police Force (KPC). 

The incident occurred at 1:31 AM on Saturday, prompting a police response. According to authorities, the 31-year-old man, born in Venezuela, was immediately taken into custody for violating the Admission and Expulsion Law. 

Following his arrest, the man was presented before a public prosecutor’s assistant. He is currently being held in custody pending his deportation.
