Venezuelan INAC regulates flights to and from Curaçao and Aruba

Only the transfer of passengers of Venezuelan nationality is authorized on flights from the Islands of Aruba and Curaçao to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, according to the statement released by the National Institute of Civil Aeronautics.

CARACAS - The National Institute of Civil Aeronautics (INAC) sent a statement signed by Carlos José Vieira Acevedo, president of INAC, to the presidents of the airlines that we publish verbatim:

Complying with instructions from the President of INAC, Carlos José Vieira Acevedo, I am writing to you with the purpose of informing you that the INAC in its capacity as Aeronautical Authority proceeds on the instructions of the Vice President of the Republic to authorize the transfer of passengers "exclusively foreigners and / or Venezuelans with proven residence in the Exterior "from the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the islands of Aruba and Curaçao.

Similarly; only the transfer of passengers of Venezuelan nationality is authorized on flights from the Islands of Aruba and Curaçao to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

It is expressly forbidden to transfer cargo in the referred flights

It is important to mention that compliance with this instruction will be specifically audited and authorized by the Aeronautical Authority in coordination with the Immigration Authority (SAIME) for which the airline must present to the authorities of quality of service located at the different airports, the list of passengers with the respective supports for analysis and approval before checking each flight

 

In this regard, they are exhorted to strictly comply with the provisions established by the National Executive. If any irregularity is detected, its represented may be submitted to the corresponding sanctioning processes, including the suspension or revocation of the AOC.
