WILLEMSTAD - The Curaçao Business Association (VBC) is disappointed that after more than three months there is still no new government or prospect of a new Minister of Economic Development (MEO).

In view of the current economic crisis, VBC considers the appointment of this minister even more important. The business community is calling for a qualified and experienced minister in particular to be able to change the current crisis situation. The fact that there is no indication yet for who will be the new MEO minister is unacceptable to VBC.
