ORANJESTAD - A vaccination marathon will be held on Aruba this Saturday and Sunday. The goal is to give 10,000 citizens their first dose.

“Vaccination is an act of solidarity and joint responsibility. Nobody should be left behind!” writes the Aruban government in its announcement. "Everyone must be protected, whether by taking the vaccine or when we achieve collective immunity."

The vaccination marathon is on April 24 and 25, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and will be held at Centrum Teresita in San Nicolas, Centro Libertador Betico Croes, Club Don Bosco in Noord and the Ritz-Carlton Hotel.
