WILLEMSTAD - The vacancy advertisements for a new chairman for the Curaçao Electoral Council will be published early next year. Current chairman Raymond Römer confirms this.

Römer already announced before the elections last March that he wanted to stop. Römer has been leading the Council since 1982 and wants to transform the Electoral Council into an independent administrative body before his resignation.
