WILLEMSTAD - The management of the SDKK prison has suspended two prison guards. They were on duty when 21 Venezuelans escaped from the foreigners’ barracks.

According to warden Urny Floran, both made mistakes in their incident reporting. Their reports did not agree with the images that security cameras had registered.

Pending further investigation, these two guards have been suspended for three months.
