Update: COVID 19: Confirmed cases remain at 14; one inconclusive

WILLEMSTAD - This morning Prime Minister Eugene Rhuggenaath gave the update for Doctor Izzy Gerstenbluth who was not present at the daily briefing.

Curaçao still has 14 confirmed cases and currently 1 inconclusive meaning that the test result of that person has not led to a firm conclusion. As was indicated before, of the 14, one has died. This patient was the first case on the island.

Now 7 are safe or recovered and 6 still have the virus. They are isolated at home.

Dr. Gerstenbluth mentioned yesterday that the 14th confirmed case is the contact of a person who has the COVID-19 virus. But this person was already in quarantine, so there is no reason to panic.
