WILLEMSTAD - The University of Curaçao Moises da Costa Gomez (UoC) distances itself from the publications that appeared in the media this week concerning UoC students, on the road that the government wants to build through the mangrove forests near Rif.

As usual during an internship, these students of the Faculty of Technical Sciences held an interim internal presentation for their internship location and internship supervisors. This content has not yet been academically checked by the UoC, since such a check should only take place at the end of the internship. And these results have been published in the media.

The UoC therefore informs that no connotation can be made with the content of the presentation, but only a purely study-related matter of the students during their internship.

The UoC also informs that no rights can be derived from this presentation.
