Unemployment increased by 63 percent

WILLEMSTAD - The unemployment rate increased by more than 63 percent between September and April. The Central Bureau of Statistics made this announcement this week.

While more than 13 percent of the population were unemployed in September, it was 21.4 percent in April this year. This means that 57.5 thousand people now work, while there were more than 60,000 in September.
