WILLEMSTAD - Umpi Welvaart is not only in custody but is also not allowed to talk to the media. He is in isolation as it is called and only has contact with his lawyer, Marije Vaders.

The photographer of Vigilante is said to have been involved in the smuggling of 15 kilos of drugs and reportedly had gold bars on board his boat El Chapo. An uncle and friend who used the boat were arrested in the act.

Umpi was arrested two weeks later but denies any involvement in the case.
